German automaker recall of 5,658 vehicles over child lock failure
Volkswagen has ordered the recall of about 6,000 vehicles over faulty child lock system.
According to NTA, the recall was issued over faulty child lock system.
Due to this issue, the child lock fails to engage, once there is enough vibration from the opening and closing of a door.

This recall affects the 2016 CC, e-Golf, Golf Rand and Tiguan models.
This is not the first time the German auto manufacturer has issued a recall.
In October, 2015, the company ordered a recall of 2.4 million cars, after the huge diesel emissions scandal.
