Model S fails to pass Consumer Reports Reliability test

Despite getting excellent reviews from customers, Model S has failed to pass the Consumer Reports Reliability test.

Two months ago, Tesla's Model S succeeded in breaking the Consumer Reports' Ratings system.

Model S scored 103 in a system that usually does not go past 100.

Unfortunately, it is not doing as well in the Consumer Reports Reliability department.

As the name suggests, the Consumer Reports Reliability test looks at the reliability of vehicles, and Model S has fallen into the "Not Recommended" category.

This is because of numerous issues that existing users have complained.

These complains include body squeaks, brake rotors warp, faulty door handles, and overall confusing technology.

However, this has not stopped Tesla.

Recently, the automaker unveiled a 2016 model, Model X, which was received well.

Also, a new autopliot update has been launched and people are excited about it.
