Professional builds Ford GT with 40,000 Lego bricks
This Ford GT Lego replica looks exactly like the original race car.
According to DailyMail, it took three weeks to create this model with 30,000 to 40,000 bricks.
"In the beginning we had to think about the size of the model. We decided to build it in a 1:3 scale and so we decided to make a 3D model in this size.
After that the wheels were the first things to build freehand – I looked at the pictures and then I tried to make it in the same look. And then I started from the bottom and started to grow it up to the top.
The hardest thing to build is the logos and the buttons of the model because you have to use very much different colours at the same time.
The real model is exciting too, but the Lego model is exciting too", he said.
It was revealed at the 2016 Le Mans, where the Ford GT defeated a Ferrari, 50 years after it's original victory.
