He shared the piece of news via his Instagram page saying:
The Starboy is just coming off a major feature in Drake’s ‘One dance’ which made it to number two on Billboard’s Twitter chart debuting on number one. The song also made it to number two on iTunes USA and number one in other countries.
The pop singer is also set to perform at an annual Essence festival to hold in New Orleans Louisiana between June 30 and July 3, 2016. He is to perform alongside artistes like Mariah Carey, Tyrese, Maxwell and Kendrick Lamar, amongst others.
This gives the Afro-pop artiste’s music a strong platform and huge opportunity to get some R&B/Hip-Hop fans to get familiar and hopefully love his sound making him crossover stronger to the U.S and International global market.

The Nigerian pop singer has been having a busy year so far going on African tours and international ones while also hatching likely major collaborations with international as well as local music acts.
