The  last of Nigerian entertainment beefs in January 2016 is yet to be seen.

Up next is veteran dancehall act and member of the defunct Plantashun Boiz, Blackface, who returns with a new song and video titled ‘Killah‘ where he takes shot at Wizkid, calling him a ‘copycat‘.

In the song, Blackface used punchlines like, ‘Why Wizkid try me steal melody, dey copycat, na get me energy, me burn them me send them to the cemetery’. Excerpts from the first verse reads…

"Boy Wizkid try steal me melodyBut them copycat na gat me energyMe burn them and send them to the cemeteryTell dem copycats them playing with fireTell dem be original or them better retireBecauseMy fellas no go hesitate to fireRun dem down..marsh up dem empire"

Blackface earlier had taken shots at Wizkid and former boss, Banky W for stealing his song ‘I like the way’ from his "Dancehall Bizness" album released in 2010 and remaking it to ‘Slow whine’ in wizkid’s Starboy album released in 2011.

Now according to several reports, Wizkid stole Blackface's song called ‘Since you been gone’ from Blackface’s"Dancehall Bizness" album and remade it to ‘Ojuelegba’.

All efforts to get to Blackface to confirm these allegations have stalled as we learnt he isn’t talking to no reporters and only wants the case heard and decided over in a court of law.

Just a few days back, Wizkid was called out on Twitter by Dammy Krane who accused him of ‘stealing’ his lines, slangs and content. The episode later wen physical with Wizkid assaulting Dammy Krane at the popular hangout, Club Quilox.

It’s however not clear if Blackface’s punchlines also refers to the recent beef between Wizkid and Dammy Krane or he is only alleging that Wizkid lifted lyrics from him.
