Victoria Kimani has plans to release her debut studio album in 2016.
The Chocolate City diva was signed to Chocolate City in 2013, and has consistently put out hit singles which has made her a popular figure in Nigeria and Kenya.
But the diva is yet to drop her first album after two years at the record label. However, that is set to change next year as Kimani plans to drop her debut album.
“I’m working on an album now, I would like to release a body of music pretty soon, but I don’t want to rush into that because I really genuinely want to have totally won over as much of the continent as I possibly can.” She told Pulse TV.
In 2014, Kimani released an EP named "Queen Victoria". It achieved relative success, spearheading her charge to being accepted across the continent. She intends for her next project to be financially successful, hence the wait and hardwork.
“So that when I put out my album on iTunes, you guys will go out and buy it. She confirmed. “I don’t wanna just drop an album, and people don’t know it’s out.
“So I’m working on releasing a few more singles, and eventually an album early next year, 2016.”
