Nigerian rapper,
Ice Prince made this known on Monday, May 23, 2016, during a press conference attended by Chocolate City's president , M.I Abaga, and Jesse Jagz, who was also unveiling his record label, JagzNation.
He said, “My contract with Chocolate City Music expired 3 years ago but you know how it is in Nigeria and this is the plain truth; if I had come out 3 years ago and said ‘contact over, peace’, the way people would interpret it would be very bad. Not just bad for me but also bad for my brothers (M.I and Jesse Jagz) and the legacy we have built.”
“It took me a while because I was trying to figure the best way to go about it without people thinking there was a fight somewhere. That kinda stuff affects record label business.”
