The singer had earlier today announced his 5th LP, and also released the artwork for the album. Created by American designer, GeorgiGeorgiev of MoonringDesign, the ominous artwork features a topless figure of a woman, spotting an abstract animal head, with protruding antlers. Her breasts are shielded by flower petals, as she holds onto the clothing covering her pelvis and legs.
Brymo has explained the concept to Pulse, exclusively stating via email, the significance of the work.
"The title (Klitoris) means key in Greek and of course it has the other popular meaning," Brymo says. "This album is the key to the door I now stand in front of, and it is dedicated to the woman. It is an expression of my love for Woman, and all of the doubts I have about said feeling.
The concept of "Klitoris" took over a year, as the singer sweated to record a new album after the success of his 2014 LP "Tabula Rasa".
"Over a year and a half is what it took to put it all together, and the conceptualization phase was the longest; say about six to eight months," He said.
The announcement of the album title and artwork has created an outcry on twitter, with many shocked by the daring title and dark artwork. Brymo feels his part is done, and leaves judgement to the public.
"I have done my part, the album is now on its way to the domain of the public, people must now decide how much they love or loath the work... I'll in turn learn from their reaction. I have however enjoyed, immensely, the process of making it, I hope the listeners enjoy it even more."
The 11-track album, which is a blend of catchy melody, poetry and rhythm is said to be an expression of the singer’s thoughts, imagination and philosophy.
The singer has released five albums prior to this including four studio albums and one international album – "Brymstone"(2005-2010), "Son of a Kapenta" (2012), "Merchant Dealers and Slaves"(2013), "Tabula Rasa"(2014), and "Trance"(2015) respectively.
The album is preceded by a lead single titled ‘Happy memories’.
