Performance coach spoke to Business Insider about the "lie" he sees behind people with positive and negative thinking.

"For most people when the result is not what they wanted, they get stuck in what I call the loop of insanity: they blame something or somebody," he told Business Insider.

Edwards said the mindset to follow is "the possible."

"When you've got possible, it gives you something called clarity. When you commit to dealing with everything in advance, you can then ask yourself: 'Is it possible I could make this happen?'"
