Kwara state has a new spokesperson for arts, culture and tourism in the person of Yoruba actor, Femi Adebayo.
Yoruba actor appointed Senior Special Assistant on Arts, Culture and Tourism in Kwara
Adebayo joins the league of Nollywood celebrities like Kate Henshaw, Richard Mofe Damijo and most recently Ini Edo who have served as tourism ambassadors for their respective states.
The visibly excited actor took to Instagram to make the announcement saying:
"Today I was appointed as a Special Assistant to the Kwara state governor on Arts, Tourism and Culture. Thank God for an opportunity to transform my state into a foremost tourist state that will attract foreign and domestic tourists."
Abebayo also asked his fans for their support, pleading with them not to leave him.
The son of veteran Yoruba actor, Adebayo Salami also known as "Oga Bello", Adebayo runs his own media company, J-15 Media Network Nigeria.
Also popularly known as "Jelili", Adebayo is a trained lawyer from the University of Ilorin and also bagged a Master Degree in Theatre Arts from the same university.
