Here is why you always need a seat belt

A machine has been made to show people what happens when they do not use their seat belts.

The Convincer

Car safety is extremely important for all drivers.

Not only can it affect you, it could also affect the people around you.

Unfortunately, a scary number of people disregard this, even something as simple as using a seat belt.

In order to teach people, especially young adults, the consequences of driving without one, the Connecticut State Police made a machine called The Convincer.

The Convincer gives the rider a feel of what is like to get into a crash going just 5 mph and also shows how quickly people can fall out of rolling cars when not wearing seat belts.
