See how woman set on fire by police officer husband turns out

A woman whose police officer husband set on fire is now pathetic.

Isaac Gbarwuan and wife Mary Sunday before and after

If the Women Advocates Research and Documentation Centre (WARDC), a non profit civil rights organization that fights for the rights of abused and violated women have their way, Isaac Gbaruwan, an officer with the Nigeria Police Force, would spend the rest of his life in jail for setting his wife, Mary Sunday, on fire and turning her into an object of misery.

The WARDC headed by Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi, have petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase to immediately cause the dismissal of Gbawuran from the force as well as getting him prosecuted for the dastardly act of setting his wife ablaze over allegations of infidelity.

The group believes doing such would serve as a deterrent to other men who take the laws into their hands to abuse and violate women.

According to the body, Gbawuran had, some months ago, accused Sunday of cheating on him and even without providing strong evidence, beat her up mercilessly, aftre which he poured kerosene on her and set her on fire.
