Obituary : 'Fast and Furious' Star Paul Walker Dies In Fatal Car Accident

Paul Walker, popular for his leading role in fast paced, action packed, racing movie series Fast and Furious, passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles, California on Saturday afternoon.

Professional race car driver Roger Rodas, was test driving Paul's new Porsche GT when it veered off road, crashed into a tree and burst into flames.  Both were pronounced dead on site.

The actor had been on set, filming the seventh sequel to the Fast and Furious movie franchise, which was set to be released in July 2014.

Paul Walker had just celebrated his 40th birthday and was in town for a charity event for his non-profit Reach Out Worldwide to benefit the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

He leaves behind a 15 year old daughter and a world of friends and fans.
