Mickey Rourke who is popular for his roles in “Batman” and “Iron Man 2,” will be playing the role of a corrupt CEO of an oil firm who is responsible for the pipeline explosions, spillages affecting villages in Nigeria.
The film seeks to expose the Western exploitation of the Niger Delta, the local corruption that supports it and violent resistance from the people. The film is due for release sometime this year.
Amnesty International said this about the movie:
Kudos to Jeta, doing big things for Nollywood.
