The Super Falcons of Nigeria had their first training session ahead of the international friendly against Canada.

The Super Falcons arrived in Vancouver for 1st friendly against Canada on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

The official Super Falcons social media accounts have now given updates on the players in camp.

A statement on social media by the Super Falcons after a training session said, "Feeling the BC Place Stsdium Turf!"

The Super Falcons' social media account also confirmed that there are now 17 players in camp.

It listed the first 13 to arrive with a statement that said, "13 players in camp: Yewande Balogun, Ifeoma Onumonu, Uchenna Kanu, Onyi Echegini, Rasheedat Ajibade, Ogbonna Akudo, Rita Chikwelu, Christy Ucheibe, Onome Ebi, Ashleigh Plumptre, Michelle Alozie, Toni Payne & Nicole Payne."

The other four to hit camp were also provided in a statement that said, "Arrivals update! Four more joining us in Vancouver, namely Amanda Mbadi, Peace Efih, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and Tochukwu Oluehi. Now, 17 players in camp."

The Super Falcons will face off against the Tokyo 2020 women's football Olympic medal winners Canada at 7:30 pm Nigerian time on Friday, April 8, 2022.
