Lebron returns to Cleveland

LeBron recorded 32 points, 14 rebounds and seven assist as he returned to haunt Cleveland at home for the second time in his career.

When LeBron left Cleveland for the first time in his career and joined up with Dwayne Wade at the Miami Heat, he was jeered whenever he returned to face the Cavaliers in front of their home supporters.

The Lakers continued their impressive run this season as they swept past the Cavaliers in the closing period of the game.

The Cavaliers who have not replicated the performances that saw them advance to the NBA finals last season had a strong start and were motivated by the return to Lebron.

Top performers along side Lebron for the Lakers were Lonzo Ball who had 15 points along with Brandon Ingram with 14 points while Kyle Kuzma contributed 12 points.

Top performers for the Cavaliers were Cedi Osman with 21 points, Jordan Clarkson with 20 points and Tristan Thompson with 14 points.

Warriors lose to Thunder

Defending champions Golden State Warriors suffered their fourth consecutive loss at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder 95-123.

The Warriors have were winless in three going into the encounter against the Thunder at the Oracle Arena originating from the altercation between Draymond Green and Kevin Durant at the LA Clippers.

Paul George was the top scorer for the Thunder with 25 points nine rebounds and five assists while Steven Adams added 20 points and 11 rebounds with former MVP Russell Westbrook recording a triple double with 11 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds.

Durant and Klay Thompson both recorded 27 points each but were unable to save the Warriors from a heavy defeat.

Harrison Barnes had 28 points with help from rookie Luka Doncic as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Brooklyn Nets 119-113.

Marc Gasol produced 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Memphis Grizzles beat the San Antonio Spurs 104-103.

Paul Millsap recorded 25 points as the Denver Nuggets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 103-101.

Zach LaVine contributed 29 points along with 20 points and 13 rebounds from Jabari Parker as the Chicago Bulls beat the Phoenix Suns 124-116.

Trey Burke put up 29 points and 11 assists the New York Knicks beat the Boston Celtics 117-109.

Kemba Walker was not at his best but contributed 16 points and 11 assists as the Charlotte Hornets beat the Indiana Pacers 127-109.

James Harden recorded his season best of 43 points, nine assists and seven rebounds as the Houston Rockets beat the Detriot Pistons 126-124.

Clint Capela with 27 points and 15 rebounds while Blake Griffin added 37 points and 11 rebounds.

The Toronto Raptors continued their impressive start to the season as Kyle Lowry has his first triple-double of the season 21 points 17 assists and 12 rebounds as they beat the Atlanta Hawks 124-108.

Joel Embiid recorded 31 points and 19 rebounds while with help from Ben Simmons who added 22 points as the Philadelphia Sixers beat the New Orleans Pelicans 121-120 to maintain home advantage.
