The Miami Heat recorded a 111-103 victory against the Boston Celtics in Game six of the Eastern Conference Finals played on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

The Miami Heat had their backs against the wall after losing game five in front of their home fans at the FTX Arena in Florida.

Jimmy Butler would produce an all-time great performance as the Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden.

The Celtics could not close out the series in front of their home fans as there would now be a Game 7.

Miami Heat force Game 7

Jimmy Butler was the star of the show as the Miami Heat forced a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Heat started the elimination game strong as they took the first quarter 29-22 but the Celtics bounced back to take the second quarter 24-19.

The Heat took the pivotal third quarter 34-29 and closed the fourth quarter 29-28 to record an eight point victory.

Butler led the Heat with 47 points, nine rebounds and eight assists and revealed that he spoke to Dwayne Wade before the game.

He said, "I got a phone call and text message from D Wade earlier today and he was telling me I can do this.

"Knee is banged up, but nobody cares. Go out there and continue to build your legacy. That meant the world to me, so appreciate you D Wade."

"This is a very good team that we're playing against...what you hope is that brings out the best in you."

The Miami Heat now have a chance to close out the series against the Boston Celtics in front of their fans and advance to the NBA Finals where they would face Western Conference Champions the Golden State Warriors.
