Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq has revealed his desire to return to his former club, Roma in the Italian Serie A.
The Almeria forward stated that Roma remains close to his heart despite having left the Italian capital since 2020.
Sadiq has been in red hot form this season in the Spanish second division, leading Almeria's charge for promotion to the Spanish La Liga.

As reported by TribalFootball, Umar Sadiq pointed out that he still has a home in Rome and his family is also still in the Italian capital while reminiscing about the atmosphere at the Serie A club.

Sadiq said: "Roma is my second home. I have my house there and my family.
"Roma gives me a beautiful atmosphere and everything for me.

The Almeria striker did not close out the possibility of a return to the club, where he would link up with legendary manager Jose Mourinho and England forward, Tammy Abraham.
Sadiq said: "You never know the future. But for now I need to remain focused on my career at UD Almeria."
Sadiq failed to nail down a first team role at Role during his initial five-year stint at the club, going out on several loans to clubs like Bologna, Torino, and Perugia.
Be humble - Umar Sadiq to Felix Afena-Gyan
The Super Eagles striker also talked up the performances of young Ghanaian striker Felix Afena-Gyan at Roma this season.
Sadiq also advised the 19-year-old striker to keep his head down at the club and continue to improve his craft.
"He (Afena-Gyan) is doing good and I'm sure he will give a lot to Roma. He should just keep being humble and continue to learn," Sadiq advised.
Afena-Gyan broke into the Roma first team this season, scoring two last-minute goals against Genoa in just his third Serie A outing for Roma and received a pair of shoes worth N360,000 from Jose Mourinho.
Umar Sadiq has also been prolific for Almeria this season, recording 17 goals and 10 assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
On the other hand, Tammy Abraham has found the back of the net 24 times for Roma, alongside five (5) assists in 46 appearances so far this season.
