Former Super Eagles defender Sam Sodje has advised Rangers' star Joe Aribo to ditch the Scottish giants and consider moving to Premier League club Brentford this summer.
Sodje believes that the fact that Brentford is in London would guarantee the spotlight being placed on Aribo as well as a guarantee that the Super Eagles star would get ample playing time with the Bees.
Aribo is the subject of intense transfer rumour following an impressive season and only one year left on his contract with Brentford.
Sodje pushes Aribo to Brentford
As reported by The Scottish Daily Express, Sodje listed popularity, game time, fans and club organisation as some of the reasons Aribo should choose Brentford as his next destination.

Sodje said: "It's easy. What people don't know is that Brentford is in London and once you're playing for a London team you always get reviews and the most important thing Brentford is a family club.
"The fans are incredible. If you are signing for Brentford, you know you are signing for a very good club, it would suit them."
Brentford over Aston Villa for Aribo - Sodje
Aribo is a regular starter for Rangers both in the Scottish Premiership and in the Europa with the Super Eagles star making a total of 57 appearances in all competitions for Rangers during the 2021/22 season.
Thus, Sodje believes that if Aribo signs for Brentford, the 25-year-old midfielder would still get to see regular action on the pitch despite moving upwards to the Premier League.
"Let's forget about everything else, they will get games, that's the other important thing. It's about going to somewhere that you will play games," Sodje argued.
"Aribo coming in he has to go to a football club that he has to get games. If they can come to Brentford, it's a great signing for Brentford and for them."
Sodje, a former Brentford defender, was pleading the case for his former club with Aston Villa also said to be in the running for the Nigerian international who previously played under current Villa manager, Steven Gerrard.
Aribo chooses to stay at Rangers
Recently, Aribo pledged his immediate future to Rangers stating that he is happy and is not considering leaving Scotland this summer as his only focus is on the Giovanni van Bronckhorst-led side.
"I’m happy at Rangers, I’ve been happy since I got here and I’ve loved every single minute of it," Aribo said.
"So I’ve just been focused on here and I just want to stay focused because at the end of the day, I’m a Rangers player and I’m not thinking about leaving because I’m really happy here."
Aribo has less than one year left on his contract at Rangers as his current deal expires on May 31, 2023. The Super Eagles star can start talking to new clubs as soon as January 2023.
