Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has sent a 'come-get-me' plea to clubs as he looks for a way out of Italian club Torino due to a lack of game time.

The 25-year-old left-back has revealed that he is open to leaving the Serie A club three years after signing a permanent deal from Premier League side Chelsea.

Aina is currently part of the 27-man squad invited by the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the doubleheader AFCON 2023 qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.

Aina said: “I think my season started well; because I was playing all the time and starting all the time. And then after January, as everyone knows, the game time wasn’t there as much.

"So, it was a little bit up and down. I think I finished the season very strong, as always I’m happy."

Ola Aina casts doubt over Torino future

The former Chelsea Academy star signed a four-year contract with Torino in the summer of 2019 and with just one year left on that deal, he is ready to move on and jumpstart his career elsewhere.

“We’ll have to see what happens over the summer, I’m not sure. Only one year left there, I’m not sure what will happen," Aina explained.

Ola Aina played only 23 matches all season for Torino during the 2021/22 season, racking up 1644 minutes of action at an average of 71 minutes per match.

Of those 1644 minutes, only 371 minutes came in 2022 spread over only five (5) matches between January and May 2022.

Between August and December 2021, Aina made 19 appearances for Torino, missing only one match for the club while making the bench on the two other occasions he did not feature.
