Former Manchester United midfielder Michael Stewart has lauded Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey for his strong performance during the UEFA Europa League final.
Bassey started at centre-back for Rangers as they faced Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Europa League final at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville.
Despite the Super Eagles defender's impressive performance for the Scottish giants, Rangers lost to Frankfurt 5-4 on penalties after playing a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes of football.
'Tremendous, Absolutely Unbelievable Calvin Bassey'
In the aftermath of the final in Spain, Stewart took to his personal Twitter page to hail Bassey for his excellent performance on the night.

Bassey played all but one of Rangers' 15 Europa League matches this season, registering one (1) assist on the road to Wednesday's final against Eintracht Frankfurt.
