Former Juventus goalkeeper Angelo Di Livio has backed Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to deliver the 2022/23 Serie A title for Napoli.
The 56-year-old three-time Scudetto winner also believes that the Naples-based club stand a better chance of being Italian champions if they keep Osimhen rather than exchanging him with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Manchester United forward Ronaldo has been sensationally linked with Napoli in the past few days with a swap deal and €100m is rumoured to be on the table for Osimhen to move the other way.
Napoli can win Scudetto with Osimhen, not Ronaldo - Di Livio
While neither club have given a definite answer as to if the deal would happen, Di Livio believes Napoli are better served if they keep the Nigerian international for at least the 2022/23 season.

In an interview with Radio Due as reported by tuttomercatoweb, Di Livio noted that Napoli are primed to build on their successful transfer window to mount a real challenge for the title.
Di Livio said: "Napoli have great chances of winning the Scudetto, they had an excellent transfer campaign.
“I would think about selling Osimhen next year, I would keep him in Naples and I say no to Ronaldo because he has the chance to get to the title.”
Napoli have previously quoted at least €100m for any deal that would see them let go of Victor Osimhen. With the added benefit of getting Cristiano Ronaldo, the Partenopei might be inclined to consider cashing in on the striker.
Osimhen has already bagged two goals in three (3) Serie A games this season, while Napoli are top of the table with seven (7) points from their first three matches.
