Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that he is eager to sign Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman on a permanent deal for the club.
Lookman is on loan to the Premier League club from RB Leipzig with the German Bundesliga club reportedly inserting an option to buy for £14m in the loan deal for the Nigerian forward.
The Super Eagles player has had a good impact at the King Power Stadium, chipping in with good performances often from the substitutes' bench.

According to Daily Mail, Leicester City manager Rodgers admitted that Lookman has impressed him during his time on loan at the club and he is eager to take up the option to buy him on a permanent deal.

Speaking ahead of Thursday's Premier League clash with Chelsea, the English manager also suggested that the Super Eagles forward can continue his player growth at Leicester City.
Rodgers said: "He is a young player I really like and he has done very well in his time here.
"We will discuss that over the coming weeks and if it's possible I'd love to be able to do something because I think there is still growth in him."
RB Leipzig ask for £14m for Ademola Lookman
With RB Leipzig asking for a fee in the region of £14m for the 24-year-old forward, Rodgers noted that the club would see if they could afford the deal for Lookman.
Rodgers stated that he is looking at deploying the Nigerian International on the left side of the attack to compete with English forward Harvey Barnes.
"We just have to wait and see from a financial perspective if that's something we can do," Rodgers explained.
"He gives us real healthy competition and challenges [Harvey] Barnes in that left-sided position because that's where he's at his best. He is the type of player that of course I'd like to have."
Ademola Lookman has made 40 appearances for Leicester City this season in all competitions, chipping in with eight (8) goals and five (5) assists in that time.
