Super Falcons of Nigeria star Rasheedat Ajibade emerged joint top-scorer at the recently concluded 12th Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The 22-year-old Ajibade emerged joint top-scorer of the WAFCON with three goals in five games.
Ajibade found the back of the net in the group stage loss to the Banyana Bayana of South Africa and victory against Burundi.
Her third goal was against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the quarterfinal.

NFF Congratulate Ajibade
The goal by the Atletico Madrid forward against Cameroon gave the Super Falcons a ticket to the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in New Zealand and Australia next year.
Despite a red card in the 70th minute against the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco Ajibade was joint-top scorer in the tournament.
Ajibade was tied on three goals with Ghizlane Chebbak of Morocco and Hildah Magaia of South Africa.
NFF General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi congratulated Ajibade with a statement that said, “We rejoice with Rahseedat Ajibade for her emergence as joint top-scorer of the tournament and we implore her to continue to show even more prolificity and commitment in the jerseys of club and country.
"Her three goals surely helped the Super Falcons to win a World Cup ticket. Our team would certainly have been in the Final if not for the incident that led to her expulsion in the semi final match against the host nation.
“She probably would have won the award outright if she finished the game and played one more match.”
