The Super Falcons will have to defeat Ivory Coast without their captain Asisat Oshoala.

<p>Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala is not part of Nigeria's squad for the 2022 Africa Women's Cup of Nations (AWCON) against Ivory Coast.</p>

<p>The 27-year-old Oshoala joined the Super Falcons camp ahead of the AWCON qualifers at the start of the week.</p>

<p>Oshoala took to Twitter to post a disturbing message ahead of the AWCON qualifier against Ivory Coast.</p>

<p>Oshoala said, "Life is just unfair... tired of trying."</p>

<p>The Barcelona Femeni star then deleted the tweet which caused anxiety among the fans and then went viral.</p>

<p>There is now speculation that Oshoala has issues which resulted in her exclusion from the squad for the all-important AWCON clash against Ivory Coast.</p>

<p>Other reports suggest that Oshoala has suffered a relapse following her return from injury.</p>
