Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo has taken to social media to give advice to Nigerians.
The 32-year-old star posted photos on his official Instagram account on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
In the photos, Ighalo is well dressed in a white shirt, black trousers with brown line design to match his cap to go with white shoes and black shades.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) top scorer also added some advice to the picture.
The message that came with the photos said, "Stress comes from trying to do it all on your own. Peace comes from putting it in God’s hands🤲💙🦅 #blessed #thankful #grateful."
Ighalo is known to be a Christian who does the sign of the cross after finding the back of the net for club or country.
The advice by Ighalo talks about stress which is the everyday reality of a Nigerian citizen in the country.
Ighalo has time and again shown that he understands the reality of the country by giving back to those in need when he can.
Earlier this year, Ighalo donated houses to widows in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State, the vicinity where he grew up and began his steps to become a professional footballer.
The former Manchester United striker was also available at the Salami Street Carnival to support the community.
The message from Ighalo comes after he scored for Al-Hilal in an AFC Champions League Group Stage fixture against Istiklol on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
Ighalo will aim to continue to red hot form when Al-Hilal take on Sharjah in their matchday five Group Stage AFC Champions League game scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 23, 2022.
