Italian giants Juventus are set to complete the signing of Franco-Nigerian striking sensation George Ilenikhena from Ligue 2 side Amiens SC for an undisclosed fee.

The Bianconerri are keen to add the 15-year-old striker to their Academy set-up after he caught the eyes of Juventus spotters.

Juventus are said to be in pole position for Ilenikhena, fending off competition from French top-flight side AS Monaco for the signature of the striking sensation.

Juventus, Monaco approach Amiens for Ilenikhena

According to sports journalist Fabrice Hawkins as reported by getfootballnewsfrance, Juventus are already in negotiations with Amiens in a bid to wrap up the move for Ilenikhena.

Juventus and Amiens have a good transfer relationship following the €3m move of centre-back Felix Nzouango from Amiens to the Italian side in 2020.

Ilenikhena is expected to go straight into the Juventus Primera set-up of the Serie A side despite being a year less than the normal age for the feeder team.

Who is George Ilenikhena?

George Ilenikhena is a left-footed 15-year-old striker (born on August 16, 2006) with the Amiens U17 side in the second division of the French league.
