Arsene Wenger has refuted reports that he is interested in signing Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.
They have been reports that Arsenal are set to sign the 25-year-old to replace Mathieu Flamini who 'have been told' to look for another club.
Wenger has however made it clear that Arsenal are not interested in signing Polish midfielder.
"Are we interested in signing Krychowiak? No," the Arsenal boss stated at a press conference ahead of this weekend English Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
Wenger also clarifies Flamini's situation, saying that he expectes the French midfielder to stay at the club.
"Flamini? I expect him to stay," Wenger says.
Having lost their first EPL game of the season at home to , Wenger says the loss would not change their transfer plan.
"When you lose a game there is a demand to sign players. Let's look inside and not except a miracle from outside," Wenger said.
"We have a great group with a fantastic mentality. We are united and we will focus together on the next game.
"One result does not affect our transfer plans. We are working hard on that."
