Nigeria's under 17 men's national football team were victorious against the Junior Etalons of Burkina Faso.
In the final of the 2022 West African Football Union (WAFU) under 17 tournament the Golden Eaglets recorded a 2-1 victory against Burkina Faso.
The final was played between the two west African rivals on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Cape Coast Stadium in Ghana.
The Golden Eaglets would battle hard to make the country proud and come back with the title.

Golden Eaglets beat Burkina Faso
The Golden Eaglets beat the Junior Elephants while the Junior Etalons beat the Black Starlets to book a final spot.
Both teams have already qualified for the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) but wanted to return home with the title.
Abubakar Abdullahi put the Golden Eaglets in front as early as the 22nd minute.
A mistake at the back allowed Burkina Faso to equalize going into the halftime break.
Abdullahi scored his second of the game in the 48th minute to put Nigeria a goal up after the Burkina Faso goalkeeper spilled a free kick by left back Emmanuel Michael product of Moses Simon's academy.
Nduka Ugade's side would hold on to and win the game to be crowned champions.
