Super Eagles of Nigeria duo Cyriel Dessers and Ademola Lookman are set to battle for the UEFA Europa Conference League Player of the Week award.
Lookman and Dessers were both instrumental for their teams in the games played on Thursday, April 29, 2022.
Dessers the hero for Feyenoord
Dessers talked about leading Feyenoord to the final and backed it up with a strong performance.
Dessers was the star as Eredivisie side Feyenoord recorded a 3-2 victory at home against French Ligue 1 outfit Olympique de Marseille.

The 27-year-old Dessers scored in the 18th and 46th minute to help his team secure the win.
The two goals by Dessers means he now has 10 goals in the competition this season leading the scoring charts.
Dessers had four goal attempts, four offsides before being replaced by Alireza Jahanbakhsh in the 82nd minute.
Lookman forces draw for Leicester City
Super Eagles new boy Lookman put on a great performance to help Premier League outfit Leicester City force Serie A giants AS Roma to a draw at the King Power Stadium.
Down a goal in the second half, Lookman forced Leicester City's 1st European semi-final goal against Roma as Gianluca Mancini deflected the ball into his net in the 67th minute.
Lookman had a 86% passing accuracy before he was substituted for Ayoze Perez in the 84th minute.
The other two nominees are not Nigerians as AS Roma's Lorenzo Pellegrini and Feyenoord's Luis Sinisterra also have a chance at the award.
