Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers went off injured on Sunday afternoon as his Cremonese side played another draw in the Italian Serie A.

Cremonese hosted Udinese at the Stadio Giovanni Zini but could only manage a goalless draw in front of their home fans as the Massimiliano Alvini side continues their search for their first win of the season.

Other Nigerian forwards were involved in the game with David Okereke playing the full 90 minutes for Cremonese while Isaac Success saw 76 minutes of action for Udinese.

Cremonese draw Udinese 0-0

Udinese were looking to rekindle their spark, after winning six matches in a row between mid-August and early October, the club fell on hard times and have drawn two (2) and lost two (2) of their last four (4) matches.

Against bottom-placed Cremonese, the Andrea Sottil-led side dominated but were profligate in front of goal, shooting seven (7) of their 13 matches off-target.

In a match that had a draw written all over it, Cremonese did not make much of their chances either, having only two (2) shots on target from a total of 13 attempts.

Turning out for Udinese, Issac Success played 76 minutes and tallied one (1) shot off target, another shot blocked, and one (1) unsuccessful dribble attempt before he was hooked for Beto.

Cremonese will be back in action on Saturday, November 5 when they travel to the Stadio Arechi to take on Salernitana while Udinese will host Lecce at the Dacia Arena on Friday, November 4.
