Lacazette's Arsenal deal expires at the end of this season, meaning that from January 1 he can speak to foreign clubs and sign a pre-contract agreement to join them in July 2022. Best online casino bonus in Pennsylvania
The Athletic report that the Gunners are only willing to offer Lacazette a short term deal but have not ruled out the possibility of the 30-year-old staying at the Emirates Stadium beyond this season.
Lacazette has started each of Arsenal's last three league matches.
Arsenal are understood to be unwilling to pay an ageing player a high salary on a long term deal as they have done so in the past.
In recent years, similar scenarios have arisen with the likes of Mesut Ozil, Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi, with the club keen to avoid a repeat with Lacazette.
The club are also wary of keeping hold of Lacazette as they believe him staying could hinder the development of youngsters Folarin Balogun and Gabriel Martinelli.
It is also believed that if Lacazette remains at the club, it could limit Mikel Arteta's chances of signing a new striker to compete with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
