Sound Sultan has released his seventh studio album titled "Out Of The Box".
This follows previous albums ‘’Kpseeeeeeew’’(2001), ‘’Textbook’’ (2004), ‘’Naija 007”(2007), “SS4” (2008), “Back to The future”( 2010) and “Me, My Mouth and Eye” (2012).
The album houses 24 tracks and features talented acts such as Phyno, 2Baba, Patoranking, Olamide, Sarkodie, Grey C, Drey Beat, Ceaza Milli among others.
Producers on the album include Del B, Wizzy Pro, Tee-Y Mix, and Cobhams among others.
Mixing and mastering was courtesy Tee-Y Mix, Zeeno Foster, Indomix and Olaitan Dada.
Singles in the album that were pre-released include 'African lady' featuring Phyno and Flavour, 'Kuku no worry'.
The fusion artist's first single 'Jagbajantis' released in 2000 became an instant hit and a classic. He got signed to Kennis Music under which he released four albums. The singer however in 2007 went on to form Naija Ninjas alongside his brother Baba Dee. Naija Ninjas is a parent company housing a record label, production outfit and a clothing line.
Sultan who started as a rapper has switched from R&B, fuji, sfrobeat and soul music genres.
Sultan's sixth studio album "Me, My Mouth and Eye" was nominated for album of the year at the Headies 2012.
