A dangerous incident occurred in one of Warsaw's housing estates in Białołęka.
According to TVN24, an Amstaff dog attacked a small Spitz. The city guard's eco-patrol intervened and caught the aggressive dog. The police have already dealt with the matter.
"Yesterday (March 19) around 7 pm at Marcin Street from Wrocimowice, my father-in-law and his dog were attacked by an Amstaff. Unfortunately, our Spitz may not survive this, because it was practically torn to pieces. I am posting a photo of the dog whose owner we are looking for," wrote the owners of the attacked dog in a post on one of the Facebook neighborhood groups.
Commissioner Paulina Onyszko from the Warsaw VI District Police Headquarters told TVN24 that the owner of the Spitz reported the case a day after the incident that took place in the area of Marcin Street from Wrocimowice.
"Based on the testimony received from the witness, police officers from the department for offenses and administrative proceedings initiated investigation activities aimed at identifying the owner of the Amstaff dog, which was taken to the shelter by eco-patrol. The District Veterinary Officer will be notified about the entire matter," revealed the commissioner.
The city guard confirmed that the dog was taken to the Na Paluchu shelter. According to the reports of the guards who intervened at that time, the dog was very excited, explained Jerzy Jabraszko from the city guard.
The shelter published a photo of the dog on its website. According to the information provided on the website, the Amstaff is a two-year-old male weighing 27 kg.
