Gift voucher sharing platform to expand to Ghana and South Africa

Lagos-based gifting network, <strong>Suregifts</strong>, will soon extend its operations to <strong>Ghana</strong> and <strong>South</strong><strong>Africa</strong>, the two countries where the company says it has had a significant user engagement since its launch last year, according to various reports.

According to TechCabal, Suregifts said that it has also launched a new website and additional features on its platform as part of the expansion plan.

“Suregifts recently launched a new website with introduced several features to boost user-experience. Customers can now choose card designs based on the occasion, attach video messages, and have gift cards delivered to recipients via e-mail or even SMS,”  the company said in a statement.

The company, founded by three former execs at Jumia; AdeoyeOjo, BabafemiLawal, and OlaoluwaSamuel-Biyi, has received investments from Venture Garden Group (VGG) and Africa Angels Network (AAN) and it looking to roll out in more countries by the end of 2015.
