The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, has been suspended from the All Progressives Congress (APC), his political party.
This action was taken by the APC in his Gwadabawa Ward in Adamawa State.
Why Boss Mustapha is on the hot seat
According to Muazu Kabiri, an official of the party in the Ward, Mustapha did not make significant contributions to the last general election.
In addition, Mustapha lost his polling unit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in both the presidential and the governorship polls.
The letter of suspension sent to Mustapha also cited his poor performance in the last election as the reason for his suspension.
Plot Twist: The Adamawa State chapter of the APC has opposed the decision, stating that the ward lacks the power to suspend Mustapha.
