Nigeria has 10 aircraft in its presidential fleet, President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu has revealed.
Shehu made the clarification in denial of widespread reports that there were 14 jets in the fleet.
He also denied that the presidency had spent N6 billion on maintaining the fleet in the past six months.
The 10 aircraft in the fleet are:
- 1× Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 737
- 1× Gulfstream G550
- 1× Gulfstream G500
- 2× Falcon 7X
- 1× HS 4000
- 2× Agusta139
- 2× Agusta 101
