Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has mourned the death of Ken Saro-Wiwa Jr.
Saro-Wiwa Jr, the son of late Ogoni activist, Ken Saro-Wiwa died on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, after a brief illness.
Jonathan made his comments via a post on Facebook. He said:
“A bright star has been prematurely plucked from the Nigerian firmament. Ken Wiwa, like his father, Ken Saro Wiwa, was a patriot. My prayers are with the family he left behind. Adieu great son of Nigeria.”

Saro-Wiwa Jr had served as an adviser to Jonathan and was also an international journalist and author before his death.
