Governor dares Maina to expose corrupt people in Buhari’s govt

Maina had earlier revealed in an interview with Channels TV, that those around Buhari are not telling him the truth.

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has called on Abdulrasheed Maina to expose the corrupt people in President Buhari’s government.

Maina, who was the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, in an interview with Channels TV, said those around Buhari are not telling him the truth.

The embattled pension reforms’ boss also asked the President to give him a chance to prove he is innocent.

Speaking on Maina’s interview, Fayose said that he is sure Buhari will not take action, citing the allegation of fraud that was levelled against Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru.

The Governor also said “The Maina challenge is another opportunity for President Buhari to prove that he is actually fighting corruption. But I am sure that since it again bothers on his closest men, he won’t do anything.”

“There is no need waiting for the President to conduct public inquiry on the pension scam, Maina should just go ahead and tell Nigerians who the thieves among Buhari’s men are,” he added.
