You can now use Messenger with just your name and phone number

Sources say Facebook has made some changes to the way you can use their Facebook Messenger app, you no longer need to have a Facebook account to use the app.

You can now sign up to Facebook Messenger without having to have a Facebook account, instead you can sign up with your name or phone number.
