Teddi Mellencamp , The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and health and wellness coach, didn't always prioritize her health.
To celebrate her 38th birthday, the reality TV star posted a before-and-after photo to her Instagram . On the left, she included a photo of herself weighing over 200 pounds. On the right, was a recent photo of her slimmed physique four years after adopting healthier habits.

Photo on the left: my birthday during one of the many years I was truly struggling with taking care of myself when it came to health and fitness. I remember having to step on the scale at the doctor- and the tears when the doc said, Teddi, youre 53 and over 200lbs. The me in that picture would do extreme fad diets, lose a bunch of weight and then gain it all back again. Picture on the right: Now, going into my 38th year with four years of consistent commitment to my lifestyle. Four years years I have been All IN- no yo-yo. And even when I do get a little wild (for instance, you may have seen me on #RHOBH in Provence ), I have the tools to reel it back in rather than letting myself unravel for weeks worth of choices that dont work for me. I am grateful that at this age of 38 I now know that healthy living isnt a diet- its a lifestyle. I am so blessed to be surrounded by an amazing team @goallinbyteddi who have also changed their lives and continue to help me stay committed to feeling my best. This support network is invaluable and one of the best gifts I could ask for. So, how did Teddi lose weight? The photos don't tell the whole story. In her caption, Teddi opened up about what was going on behind the scenes in her life and the changes she made. "I was truly struggling with taking care of myself when it came to health and fitness," she shared. "The me in that picture would do extreme fad diets, lose a bunch of weight and then gain it all back again."
Teddi gave her eating habits and workouts a major overhaul. "Now, going into my 38th year with four years of consistent commitment to my lifestyle. Four years I have been All IN- no yo-yo. And even when I do get a little 'wild' (for instance, you may have seen me on #RHOBH in Provence ), I have the tools to reel it back in rather than letting myself unravel for weeks worth of choices that dont work for me."
What might be more striking than the physical change, is her mental shift after creating her All In by Teddi accountability program. Her goal with the program is to help clients "learn how to balance and live a healthy lifestyle" and reach their goal weight, according to the All In by Teddi website . In addition to regular communication with accountability coaches, clients who join her program have access to the dairy-free menus and cardio workouts.
