Age differences in relationships often arouse emotions and spark discussions.
This is a topic that always causes a certain amount of controversy, and at the same time constantly fascinates.
Relationship expert, Susan Winter, says the love math formula known for over a hundred years still applies. It is with its help that bachelors can determine the ideal age of their future partner.
But is there an "ideal" age difference between partners? The writer, Max O'Rell, in his 1901 book Her Royal Highness, Woman: And His Majesty Cupid provides a formula by which men should choose partners.
"A man should marry a woman half his age plus seven years," we read in the book by O'Rell.

Let us remember that each story is different and we should not take such calculations literally. However, as relationship expert Winter notes, this love pattern may still hold true.
It's quite funny that there is an equation for the optimal age difference in love. But the formula does seem to have some scientific credibility. The truth is, however, that two matching souls will find each other regardless of their age. Age is just a number, above all, relationships based on mutual understanding have a chance of success.
