"Thats a good 5:30 a.m. sunrise sound. Music to my ears. Enjoy your Sunday, my friends #buffalo #preworkout #nomnom ," he wrote.

The Rock's choice of buffalo meat spurred a lot of discussion in the comments section as people found it an unusual choice for an early morning meal. But one fan pointed out a major flaw with the star's cooking technique.

"Boy, you better stop using that metal fork in that pan," they wrote.

"Right?? I was horrified," one fan agreed. "That was the first thing I thought," said another.

Metal utensils like forks can scratch nonstick pans, depending on the specific coating of your pan. For example, Calphalon says you can use metal on its surfacebut only with certain types of utensils.

Calphalon pans are "Safe for use with metal spatulas, spoons and whisks, as well as nylon, silicone, coated or wooden utensils. Do not use other types of metal utensils, appliances or sharp instruments to cut, chop, mix or release foods in a nonstick pan. Such use can damage the nonstick surface and void the warranty," according to the company.

Using metal utensils on a nonstick pans lay lead to chipping and flaking, which could release toxic compounds, according to Good Housekeeping . The best way to prevent scratching is by using wood or plastic utensils and avoiding steel wool pads.
