I Tried the Vice 2 Prostate Massager and My Insides Are Still Trembling

Aneros specializes in sex toys for male butts, which is why I had high expectations for the Vice 2 . The original Vice was the of the AVN "O" Award For Outstanding Male Product Design back in 2011, so I expected nothing but perfection for the second generation of the prostate massager.

Was it perfect? No. But is it a solid choice for men somewhere between the novice and intermediate level of personal butt play experience? Absolutely.

The major strength of the Vice 2 is its shape. The device has two sections: there's the part that I'd describe as the head, which is the top of the toy up until the first groove; and then there's the shaft, which ends at the second groove and stopper (i.e., the flared base, which makes sure it doesnt get lost up there).

If you stop at the first groove, you can solely stimulate your prostate, which is roughly 2-3 inches inside the anus. This positioning is great for guys who aren't quite ready to have an entire 4 (or more) inches of deep penetration. Note: If you solely insert the head, youll likely have to hold onto stopper to make sure it doesnt slide out, since youre only putting roughly a third of the toy inside your body.

If you put it entirely inside of youwhich will take a little finagling and breathing if youre not used to ityou can experience deeper anal stimulation along with prostate stimulation, since the wide shaft hits your prostate, too.

After its inside you, Id recommend turning on the vibration. Luckily, the toy comes with a remote to make your life easier, since it's awkward switching settings while youre lying on your back. Equipped with two motors, the Vice 2 has 18 vibration patterns and four speed selections, producing 72 sensory experiences. If youre someone who really likes to switch it up, then the Vice 2 is perfect. For me, its somewhat superfluous. I always put the intensity on as high as it can go; then I find the one or two vibration patterns that I like. The rest I dont use.

The main setback of the device was that it didnt seem to really stay in place. It always felt like it was trying to come out. This means I wouldnt be able to use it during sex, since the additional movement with a partner would likely jolt the Vice 2 from me. (Or if it doesn't actually fall out, it feels like it would, which is equally cumbersome.) This is a bummer, since Im not really a masturbate with toys kind of guy, but I absolutely love penetrating my partner with something vibrating in my backside. Aneros' website says the Vice 2 is "great for wearing out," so maybe it's just an issue with the way it fits my backside.

Since I had some trouble with it moving around, I ended up holding the stopper and actually thrusted it back and forth inside of me at my own pace, which felt absolutely phenomenal. It managed to hit my prostate while very deep inside of me, far past the 2-3 inches where the prostate lives. The stimulation of my inner walls along with the prostate led to a swift and powerful orgasm. I tried my best to savor the moment and last longer, but to no avail. It simply felt too good.

Still, at the end of the day, I need a little more than the Vice 2and Aneros actually agrees. According to the buyers guide on the company's website, I'm probably better suited for the and Tempo . That said, if youre someone new to prostate and anal stimulation and want a device that will allow you to explore both, hitting all the crevices and curves inside of your body, then the Vice 2 is the place to start.
