Travelling by plane is becoming more and more common, although it still raises a lot of fear and many questions.

Clothes may seem like a minor issue, but in reality they are very important. It's not only about our comfort, but also about health and safety.

The basic rule is to read the regulations of the carrier whose services we use. Different airlines may have different requirements and reservations, so it's better to be informed and prepared. Thanks to this, we will avoid stress and problems.

When choosing an outfit for the plane, remember that we will spend several hours in it with limited mobility. In addition, there are changes in blood pressure and often stress. So it's best to dress comfortably. Soft fabric pants will be a better option than tight jeans or a short skirt.

It's always a good idea to have a sweatshirt or sweater with you in case you get cold. On the other hand, do not dress too thickly, because you will get tired during the flight. It would be best to wear a thin T-shirt and something to throw on. Let's also avoid artificial materials, which are not very comfortable in the long run.

One TikTok user recently commented on the best outfit for a plane. The women admitted that she always wears long pants. "I don't feel comfortable sitting in shorts or a short skirt on airline seats," she says.

Shoes are also very important, which many people do not realise. A long flight can be tiring for the feet, so footwear should be comfortable, light and airy. Contrary to appearances, flip-flops or sandals are not the best solution. It's about hygiene. You should absolutely not move around the plane barefoot. Taking your shoes off during a flight is risky, but walking without them is just asking for trouble.

The reason is prosaic - the floor in the cabin is usually not very clean and is often inhabited by various types of bacteria, viruses and fungi. Contact with it may result in, for example, infection with fungal infections or other skin diseases. That's why closed shoes will be a better solution.
