Last month, Malta Guinness and Street Church joined forces to light up December for Lagos cool kids at the third edition of Love & Light Fest.

The event was an explosion of great music, games, delicious mocktails, ice-cold Malta Guinness, dance experiences, and more, embracing the essence of Detty December with unforgettable bliss.

The Lekki Leisure Beach was host to attendees who came out in numbers to savour the goodness that the organisers had in store. The artist lineup featured spoken word artist - IB Quake, and other talented gospel artists such as Angeloh, AnEndlessOcean, DJ Classix, Sheye Banks, Prinx Emmanuel, and Spirit of Prophecy, while climaxing with Fuji-favorite EmmaOhEmGee.

There was an abundance of food and free Malta Guinness to keep the attendees refreshed. Guests were particularly treated to an array of Malta Guinness Mocktails including the ‘Malta Guinness Punch’, ‘Malta Mango Maltini’, and ‘Malta Milk Shake’ – all having Malta Guinness as a base.

Attendees were also encouraged to share their gratitude stories and moments of goodness on a specially constructed Goodness Diary while also allowed to showcase their painting prowess on the Malta Guinness Paint Board.

'Tobi Icon Oreoluwa, the founder of the street church, resonated with the success of this year's event, expressing gratitude to Malta Guinness for their unwavering support and promising an even grander spectacle in 2024. “Afro gospel is on the rise and Love and Light Fest is a front-runner for the movement. We thank Malta Guinness for their continued support in empowering the youth community to embrace our culture and faith”, He concluded.

Reflecting on this collaboration, Ife Odedere, Senior Brand Manager - Non-Alcoholics category, Guinness Nigeria, expressed, "The partnership between Malta Guinness and the Love and Light Fest has been an embodiment of our 'Enjoy a World of Good' campaign. We aim to inspire overall wellness while fostering a world filled with love and light through experiences that nourish both body and mind."

In the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2024, Love &'Light Fest will be in London, Accra, Port Harcourt, Abuja & Accra as the year is specially set out for pushing the boundaries of the Afrogospel sound beyond borders.
