Hilda Baci kicked off her cooking marathon at 4 pm on May 11, 2023 under the watchful eyes of family, friends and well-wishers who came around to have a good time.

A cooking set shielded with a glass frame was built for Hilda to cook in an attempt to break the Guinness world record for an individual's longest cooking marathon.

The event took place at the very beautiful and lush Amore gardens at Lekki Phase 1. Hilda spent hours stirring, mixing, and tasting while the DJ played danceable tunes and different hype persons cheered her on.

Many of her friends and influencers were in attendance, notable among them were Seyi Awolowo, Elozanam and other Twitter and TikTok influencers who have also drummed up support for Hilda.

Free food and drinks were being served as people socialised and cheered for Hilda.

Lata Tondon of India currently holds the record after cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019. Hilda Baci hopes to break it by cooking for 97 hours in four days.
