Doja Cat, the American popstar announced on her Instagram and Twitter accounts that she has a clothing line coming soon called 'It's Giving'. She posed in a thong and a crop top with the words, ‘Yes’ on Instagram.

On Twitter, she posted a video that said, “It was supposed to give but it did not give what needed to be gave to the highest of giving.”

How the phrase ‘it’s giving’ began

There was a little controversy about the origin of the phrase. In 2019, Reality star, Rolling Ray, appeared on MTV’s Trolls, while reviewing a Popeyes sandwich, he said;

“It’s not even giving what y’all said it was supposed to gave, no, I wasted my money.”

That was how the phrase became popular.  When she posted the video, Ray accused her of stealing the name, she responded by saying that he should check his dm.

After their exchange, he deleted his tweet and tweeted, “Purr Now this giving what's supposed to be gave”

It's giving is quite an interesting Gen Z phrase and Doja joins the likes of Lizzo to release a clothing line this year.
