A lot of people thinking falling in love and being in a relationship makes you gain weight because eventually you get comfortable and stop taking of yourself, however a new study says the opposite.
According to this study, falling in love helps you lose weight as the hormones released when you’re falling love may actually suppress your appetite.
This study was conducted by researchers at Harvard Medical School who monitored the behaviors and eating patterns of 25 young men.
The research showed that the those who received oxytocin, the hormone released in the brain during pleasurable activities such as sex, kissing and cuddling, tended to eat less than those who did not, and had boosted metabolic levels and insulin sensitivity while they ate.
Guess we now have another additional reason to appreciate love as it can now help with weight loss.
