Bathroom products should make our lives easier and help us take care of our beauty and health

However, sometimes we unknowingly harm ourselves by using them unnecessarily or inappropriately. We advise you what is best to throw away and what items should be moved to another room. Some items may surprise you.

It's a little different in every home, but there are bathroom products that virtually everyone uses. We usually keep them on hand, which is very convenient, but not always appropriate.

Bathroom products you should throw away immediately. They harm you

First of all, it is worth getting rid of all expired and damaged products. The cream you opened over a year ago is no longer suitable for use. The same applies to lipsticks and mascaras. They may harm you more than they help you, especially when it comes to facial products, where the skin is very sensitive.

Let us also remember that all types of sponges, brushes and washcloths do not last forever. Over time, they become a breeding ground for bacteria. It is important to always rinse and squeeze them thoroughly after use, and then place them in a dry and ventilated place (so not on a bathtub or sink). However, even then it is worth replacing them with new ones from time to time. The brush or sponge that you have been using for a year should have ended up in the trash a long time ago.

Many people store medicines, various types of tablets and ointments in the bathroom. This is not a good place for such products. Moisture and high temperature accelerate their deterioration. It's better to move the medicines somewhere else. And be sure to check the expiration dates. Sometimes medicines lie unused for years.

Surprisingly, the bathroom is also a bad place to keep perfume. It's the same as in the case of medicines - moisture and high temperature, plus strong light. All this may negatively affect their quality.
